Selected works for sale Artist's CV
Lionel Budd is one of group of artists, now best known as et al, who have worked alongside one another since the mid - eighties. Theirs is a loose association, featuring Lillian Budd, Merit Gröting, and P. Mule amongst others - all artists who have contributed richly and poetically to an oeuvre pivotal to any consideration of recent, or contemporary New Zealand art. They are collaborators perhaps, with an important visual history - a lineage, no - a continuum within which programma, and (Untitled) The Second Practice in the Public/Private Triennial, at the Auckland City Art Gallery are later additions.
In their thirty years of contemporary practice, et al has amassed a substantial international and New Zealand exhibition record.
